The #5kforfamilies Fundraising Event focuses on the important work The Center does to embrace families and promote healthy development.  At The Center, we believe that we are made from the imaginations of family: how we are viewed, our sense of belongingness and comfort. We see the idea of family as the supreme metaphor for our existence. As such, we value highly the preservation of family in any configuration that it might take.

We are committed to providing high quality services that support families in need; to address problematic issues in the moment, heal trauma, and help individuals come together to achieve their goals.    By participating in the #5kforfamilies fundraising event, you are directly providing The Center the ability to give high quality care to families who need it the most. 

For over 40 years, The Center has maintained its long-standing tradition of excellence in providing community mental health services.  Our vision is to promote flexibility in counseling practices addressing the community’s ever-changing needs. As well, The Center is committed to providing culturally competent psychotherapeutic offerings both in prevention and treatment of clinical disorders. The Center continues to maintain its legacy of educating and training students and associates.

A part of the Generosity Series, The Center for Professional Counseling 5K Run/Walk will take place on December 8, 2019 in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. You don't want to miss this amazing event featuring a live DJ, pre-race warm-up & stretch, a professional announcer, one-of-a-kind Center Pro event gear and just an amazing time with friends, family, neighbors, co-workers and other charitable individuals like yourself.
